BOXING TO-NIGHT.
CARNIVAL FAIR AT ART GALLERY. The monster carnival fair in the Art Gallery last night proved very popular, and those who attended had an. interesting time. Mr Charles Buckett's gymnasium girls provided excellent entertainment. The boxing tournaments, which will to-night, should also provo a special attraction. ■The fair is being held to assist the Unemployment Fund and for the purchase of a piano for the Women's Beformatory (Addington). Mr Charles Buckett's gymnasium girls will give an interesting entertainment to-night, and special music will be supplied. Miss A. Peters's Chicken Ballet will also take part. A special item which will appeal to lovers of side-shows will be a 400-day clock. This splendid clock wil be presented to the person winning the largest number of games during .the remainder of the fair. Tho fair will open at 7.30 to-night and to-morrow night, and a change of entertainment will be given each night. - , . The boxing bouts to-night will be:—George Wright versus V. Barton (feather-weights), and V. Thomas versos C. Thomas (spiderweights).
