ELLESMERE GUN CLUB.
-—♦ Under favourable conditions, the Elleamere Gun Club held its district clay championship shoot on its ground at Lakeside. All the competitors were on the 16yds mark, and the match Was of X 7 birds. L. 0. Lemon and F. Graham both made possibles, and in the shoot-off for the championship medal Lemon won on the thirtieth clay, and Graham took the trophy given by Mr R. T. Mc« Millan for the runner-up, Lemon shot his 17 clays with the first barrel, and nsed his second barrel tnly twice in the shoot-off. Others who made good performances wef* 3 Winchester, J. Washbourne, and T. Gordon each of whom broke X 6. A nine-bird sweep was won by R. 0. Thian, who scored the possible with his first barrel. B\ L. Graham J. Winchester, and J. Washbourne each broke eight. A double rise and first-miss-out concluded the day's shooting. [Published by Arrangement,] J
