FIRES.

OUTBREAK AT FENDALTON. Fire broke out at 46 Jeffries road, Fendalton, yesterday evening, in a house owned by Mr H. Mouall and occupied by Mr H. S. White. The adjoining washhouse was totally destroyed, but the brigade, although handicapped by lack of a nearby water supply, made an excellent save of the house. The building was insured in the State Office.

At 5.23 p.m. the brigade received a call to 485 Worcester street. A little damage was done to a house owned by Mr M. E. Grose. '
