SHOPS ROBBED.
* TWO MEN FOUND GUILTY. (rBESS ASSOCIATION TELEOBAJI.) DUNEDIN, November 7. The hearing of the charges of breaking and entering against John Coory and Anthony David was commenced late vesterday afternoon in the Supreme Court before Mr Justice Mac gregor, and occupied the attention at the Court for practically the whole or the day. ... They were jointly charged with, on or about March 18th last, breaking and entering the shop of Kilroy and Sutherland, Dunedin, and stealing six suit cases, a quantity of men's clothing and other goods of the value of £lpy 13s; with breaking and entering the premises of J. and O. Wilkinson, Dunedin. on May 3rd and stealing certain keys of the value of £1 and £l6 m money; and with, on September Ist, breaking and entering the shop or John Watson, Port Chalmers, and stealing £ll9 5s in money. They wero also charged alternatively with in possession of goods, knowing them to nave been dishonestly obtained. Both accused wero found guilty on each of three charges and they were remanded for sentence.
