LICENSING REFORM LEAGUE.

MEETING AT. KAIAPOI.

There was an attendance of thirtyeight electors in the Eangiora Town Hall last evening, when the Rev. E. E. Maiden, of Christchurch, and Mr E. A. Armstrong, of Wellington, gave an address on behalf of the Licensing Reform League, in which they requested the electors to support the middle issue at the ballot-box. The Mayor (Mr W. A. Rowse) presided, and briefly introduced the speakers, who were given a fair hearing. At the close of their addresses the speakers answered a number of questions, and on the motion of the Rev. J. F. Feron were accorded a vote of thanks.
