STREPHON'S DECISIVE WIN. PRINCE HUMPHREY INJURED. (UKITED PBESS ASSOCIATION—BX ELECTBIO TELEGRAPH—COPYRIGHT.) (Received November 4th, 5.5 p.m.) MELBOURNE, November 4. The weather was dull and threatening for the races. There was a large crowd, including the Governor-General nnd State Governors. Several New Zealanders were also present. In the Maiden Plate Gilt Edge waa fifth early in the race, but led at the distance and won" nicely. It was his flrßt placing. He cast 5000 guineas as a yearling. His owner is Mr A. J.
