STOLEN MOTORCAR IN COLLISION.

WRECKED ON NORTH ROAD.: A five-seater Studebaker motor-car I which was stolen from'Mr A;. Brawn, 24 Montreal street, Sydenham,. three days ago, was recovered yesterday morning, very much the worse for its brief change of ownership. About 6J15 yesterday morning, while it was still dark, the car came into collision with a sanitary cart in North road, near St. Bede's College. The:car waß very badly wrecked, the . radiator, coming, into violent contact with the big irontyred wheel of the cart, being pushed back over the engine, while the mudguards, lamps, and bonnet were completely smashed. The windscreen and hood were also broken. The cart, travelling north on the left side of the road, was- struck' a diagonal, blow on the wheel, the latter being smashed by. the impact. So great was the force of .the collision that the wheelof the cart mounted- the radiator of the car. Neither the horse nor the driver of the cart was hurt. The driver said that he saw three "men scramble, apparently uninjured, from the wreckage, and run away down the road. In the car were found several coats and rugs, a whisky case with two full bottles and a number of straw envelopes. None of these.things could establish any clue to the occupants of the car. The damage to the cart was to the extent of about £4.
