COAL CONTRACTS ENQUIRY.
(Received August 13th, 10.5 p.m.) SYDNEY, August 13. " The civic coal contracts enquiry was resumed to-day.' Evidence was called in support of the allegations of Byrnes, Limited, that regular monthly payments were made to an . officer or officers of the City Council for six or eight years from 1914.
