AUCKLAND, August 13. Crossing Fort street to-day, Mrs Ewen Alison, wife of Mr Ewen W. Alison, jun., of Parnell, son of the Hon. Sir Alison, was knocked down bv a Post and Telegraph motor-van. She was picked up bleeding from a nasty wound on her head. • The ambulance conveyed her to hospital wnere it was found that she bad also received injury to her back. Mrs Alison was reported to be progressing as satisfactorily as could be expected. '
