FARMER POISONED.

* IN DANGEROUS CONDITION. (PBIS3 ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) NAPIER, June 21. Lionel James Donovan, aged 32, a farmer in the Wanganui district, was admitted to the Napier Hospital this afternoon, suffering from the effects of poisoning. Donovan, who is in Napier on holiday, was found at the Masonic Hotel under circumstances suggesting attempted ouicide. His condition tonight was slightly improved, but he still is dangerously ill. and it will be some hours before the doctors can say whether he will recover.
