1 LIKELY TO BECOME LAW. (BRITISH 0771C1 A L WIBZLEBS.) RUGBY, May 13. The House of Commons yesterday approved by an overwhelming majority the proposal to give local authorities the right to veto and control dog racing. The Private Member's Bill, which embodies this principle, received the support of several Cabinet Ministers and has a good opportunity of becoming law. During the debate it was stated that there are" 45 tracks in this country.
