CHRIST'S COLLEGE.
CHURCH PARADE,
Yesterday the boys of Christ's College held a church parade at the .College grounds. They have been » camp on the sports field for six days, and everything is being done to make the. course of instruction as^ near to real camp conditions as possible. The parade yesterday was a military one. At 10.40 a.m. the cadet corps fell in on the quadrangle, and after an inspection, were marched into position on the bank of the football field, where a number of .invited visitors had already assembled. The clergy, choir, and tue College staff, then moved m procession from the cloisters and the headmaster s house, joining at the clock. When the head of the procession reached the grass of tha football field, the processional hymn, "0 God, Our Help,in Ages Past," was sung. The officiating clergy-were Bishop West-Watson, Archbishop Julius, and the Rt. Rev. F. B. Molyneux, asistant Bishop of_ Melanesia, who preached an appropriate sermon. A collection was taken up for the Melanesian Mission. In the afternoon the camp lines were open to visitors.
