With her bows badly buckled and the fore part of the main deck smashed to matchwood, the Canadian Pacific liner Montrose arrived at Liverpool, the captain reporting that she hatt been in collision with an iceberg in a dense fog 800 miles from the Canadian coast. Two of the crew were killed, and two passengers injured. The impact was terrific. Fortunately the sea was calm and there was no panic—Australian Press Association. »
