OBITUARY.
MR ROBERT WILSON. [THE PRESS Special Service.] WELLINGTON, March 12. The death oeeurrod on Saturday morning of Mr Kobert Wilson, a well-known Wellington woollen merchant, in his 51st year. He had been ill for some time, and his death was not unexpected. Mr Wilson was born in Kilmarnock, Scotland, and came out here with his parents when he was a child. He learnt his business with Messrs Ross and Glendining before starting on his own account, first as Phelps, Wilson And Co., and latterly as Robert Wilson and Co. The late Mr Wilson was well known throughout New Zealand, as he had travelled all over the Dominion in the oourse of his business.
BISHOP OF LIVERPOOL. (BT CABLE—rRESS ASSOCIATION—COrYRIGHT.) (AUSTRALIAN AXD N.Z. CABLB ASSOCIATION.) LONDON, March 11. The death is announced of Dr. Chavasse, Bishop of Liverpool. [The Rt. Rev. Dr. Francis James G'havasse was 82 years' of age. He received his education at Oxford and secured his M.A. degree in IS7'2, gaining his Doctorate in 1900. Ho was Bishop of Liverpool from 1900 till 1923.] BISHOP OF SODOR AND MAN.
LONDON, March 11. The death has occnrred of the Rt. Rev. Charles Leonard Thornton-Dues-bery, Bishop of Sodor and Man, aged 01.' [The lit. Rev. Charles Leonard Thornton-Duesbery was born in tlij Isle of Man in 1867 and was educated at Trinity College, Dublin. He wis ordained 'priest in 1891. In 1919 he was appointed Rector of Holy Trinity, St. Marvlebone, W., a post which he held until 1923. Ho was chairman ot the Church of England Sunday School Institute from 1917 to 1925. and of the CM.S. Home Committee from lu2o- - _
