AT THEATRE ROYAL. "Rose Marie'' is scoring as great a eucceß3 m Christchurcb a< anywhers on its triumphant; tour, and crowded houses ars visiting lbo Theatre Royal nightly. In the unfolding of thia story ihere are some wonderfully effective episodes, including ihs' muchlicraided "'-Totem Ballet Mies Harriet Bennet, as Rose Marie, has a vcrv arduous lole to sustain, but possesses all the qualifications necessary to make an outstanding 3uccess of it. A more remarkablo performance, however, is given by Miss Stephanie Deste, whose characterisation of the Indian squaw, Wanda, is something not io be forgotten. Mr Frederick Bentlcy, as Hard-Boiled Herman, provided much of the comedy clement of the 6how.
