BACK TO NORMAL.

♦ — : SUMMER TIME OVER. Summertime has expired, and Now Zealand is again observing standard time. Officially, the change took place at 2 o'clock on Sunday morning standard time, the Post Office authorities switching back the clock at 3 o'clock summertime. Last evening the change was very evident, and the period of daylight seemed even shorter than it really was. Night descended shortly after eight o'clock. To-day is the first day of business under the old regime, and citizens will find the shades of night gathering soon after they get home from business. This will be more accentuated when the present brilliant moon disappears. At least two City clocks which face on to the street were keeping summertime yesterday.
