A RESPECTED PRIEST.

FUNERAL OF DEAN REGNAULT. (PBKSS ASSOCIATION TELEGBAM.) WELLINGTON, January 28. The funeral of the Very Rev. Dean Regnault took place to-day. The high esteem in which he was held was reflected in the large attendance at the Sacred Heart Basilica and numerous messaces of regret at his death from all parts.of the Dominion. At Requiem Mass, Archbishop Redwood delivered an impressive address on the life and work of the late dean. The celebrant of Mass was the Very Rev. Father O'Connell, Christchurch, and the deacon was the Ven. Archdeacon Holbrook, Auckland, representing Bishop Cleary, who was unable to attend, through illness. All branches of the clergy throughout the Dominion were represented, also various religious orders. The cortege was a very long one. Archbishop O'Shea conducted the ceremony at the graveside at Karori Cemetery.
