SURF CHAMPIONSHIPS.

DUNEDIN, January 24.
At the surf championships held at St. Clair Beach to-day, Lyall Bay won the Nelson Shield with 103 points. Maranui (157} points) was second, and Canterbury (144 points) third. The four-man surf championship went to Canterbury A with 91 points, Maranui, with 90| points, was second, and St. Clair, 84 2-3 points, third. The following handicaps have been declared for the Annette Kellerman Cup Race, three miles harbour swim: R. J. Webster scr, J. Enwright limin, J. McLean 2£, T. Champion 4, J. Blakeley si, E. J. Moorhouse 81, C. R. Riordan 12, A. Pithie 15, A. Bepburn 15}, W. G. Morpeth 28, Miss L. Copplestone 29}.
