The British and Foreign Bible Society announces that by the addition of seven new versions since March last, it has now printed portions of the Scriptures in 600 different languages. At the beginning of the century the number was 365, so that 237 fresh versions have seen the light during less than 28 years. Recently in one calendar year 14 now versions were issued, and at the present time several are in type, and will shortly be added to ths grand total. —Press Association.
