Special Racecourse tickets will be issued from Christchurch to Asliburton Saleyards Siding or Ashburton by special train leaving Christchurch for Abbburton at 10.10 a.m. on 14th January. The excursion ticket? and special racecourse tickets will be available for return Dp to 16th January, but not by the express train leaving Asliburton for Christchurch a: S.SG p.m. on 14th January. TRAIN" ARRANGEMENTS. 1-1 ih JANUARY. CHRISTCHURCH-ASHBURTOX.—A Special passenger train for A'iiburion Haleyards Siding and Ashburton. taking passengers from Christchurch. Addington. Kockburn. Dunsandcl, and Rukaia. will leave Christchurch 10.10 a.m. Passengers from other stations will require to travel by the usual 7.30 a.m. train from Christchurch to Ashburton. which will stop at Ashburton Saleyards Siding to M't down passengers. Return train, stopping where required to set down passengers, will leave Asliburton 5.20 p.m. and A.-hburton Saleyards Siding 5.45 p.m. Special train, conveying racehorses, leaves Christchurch for Asliburton S.lO a.m., and returns leaving Asliburton 6.30 p.m. ASHBURTO'X-TIMARU.—UsuaI 4.31 p.m. train Asliburton to Timaru leavers Asb'iurton 5.50 p.m.. arrives Timaru 8.2 p.m. It will take horses for stations to Timaru inclusive.
