LEAGUE MANDATES.
+-, ITALY DISSATISFIED. (BI C/.SLE—PHS3B AS6OCIAIIOX-•COFrR:GHT.) (ACSTEALIAN AXD K.J CABLI iSSOCIATrOJI.)
ROME, December 30. With significant unanimity the Italian Press is demanding the revision of the League mandates, presumably as a means of drawing attention to Italy ]s need for outlets for her surplus population, but some express the opinion that it is part of a plan for marshalling Italy's grievances for bartering in the pending discussions between France and Italy. The "Cor'riere della Sc-ra'' talks of remedying the mandate injustice and suggests an international conference to discuss Italy's claims to tje same rights as Britain and France. "Le Petit Parisien" learns that Signor Mussolini has no intention of drawing un such a bartering programme, because all are international problems.
