Mr Parker Gilbert, Ageht-Geiurul for Reparations in Germany, to-day gave Mr Mellon first-hand information regarding the operations of the Dawes Plan. He reiterated the belief that the real solution of Germany's war debt would come only after a fixed amount had been settled for Germany to pty without foreign supervision of her finances. This amount, he said, should be decided by experts, but he 'declined to say when he thought this step should be taken. He sails for Germany on Friday.
