Tlieie was a small attendance at the Municipal Theatre to-night, when Harry Casey (Australia, holder) met Jim Broadfoot (Auckland) for the professional middleweight title. Three fine preliminaries put the crowd in good humour for the big; event. Caaey had the better of the opening rounds, and had Broadfoot down for seven and eight in the second session. Broadfoot came back strongly over the middle stages and was going great guns at the finish. The verdict of a draw was ■well received. In the second preliminary, Jaggeri (Christehurch) beat McEwan (Invercargill).
