Ladies' Swimming Club. The Lyttelton*-Ladies' Swimming Club will hold its first beach afternoon at Corsair Bay on Tuesday next. Harbour Light Theatre." "Desert Gold," a Zane Grey special with an all-star cast, will be repeated at the Harbour Light Theatre to-night, together wtih a comedy and a news reel. A double feature programme will bo screened at both matinco and evening sessions to-morrow. The chief attraction is a Universal-Jewel comedy, "The Wrong Mr Wright," starring Jean Hersholt and Dorothy Devore, and the other attraction is "Drums of the Deßert," featuring Warner Baxter and Ford Sterling. A comedy and a gazette will also be screened. Tennis. A tennis match between the Sonthbridge and Lyttelton D.H. Schools was held in tho school grounds yesterday, and resulted in a win for the home team. It is hoped that a return match will be played in the near future. Armistice Day Service. In response to a request by officers and crew of the s.s. Remuera, a short service will be held at the Cenotaph at 11 o'clock this morning. A wreath, subscribed for by thc ship's company, will bo laid at the baso of the Cenotaph.
