THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL.

WILL ATTEND ROYAL'SHOW. The Governor-General, Sir Charles Fergusson, accompanied by Lady Alice Fergusson, Lady Augusta Inskip,' Miss Frances Dugdale, and Captain E. P. O. Boyle, arrived in Christ?hurch from Wellington yesterday morning. The party, with the exception of Lady Inskip, who is visiting friends, are staying at the Clarendon Hotel. Yesterday, the Vice-Regal party visited the Canterbury Jockey Club's meeting at Kiccarton, and his Excellency last evening attended a Masonic function. He will attend the Royal Show to-day. They will return to Wellington tonjght, but his Excellency will be revisiting Christchurch at the end of tn*e month.
