LIBERTY THEATRE.
"CenToy." the main pictorial attraction at the Liberty Theatre this week, tells the story o! a girl -who stayed at home, and yet accomplished her part in the war in s manner requiring more stoicism and more heroism than that shown by the men who enlisted. Her beauty leads to the infatuation of & German emissary in New York, whose- work is to. keep his country's under-water Teasels informed of troopship departures for England and France. On her is thrust the Judas task of trapping the spy, and secrecy has, of necessity, to be observed. The treatment of "The Auctioneer is admirable, so far as its sentimentally-humorous theme goes. This is typically American film fare, with a successful Jewish pawnbroker as leading character.
