SHOT IN CHEST.

ACCIDENTAL DISCHARGE OF PEA-RIFLE. (PAESS ASSOCIATION TILZOBAH.) GISBORNE. November 9. Mrs ' Florence Whale was admitted to hospital this evening suffering from the effects of a pea-rifle bullet in the chest. Mrs Whale's son was going shobting and picked up the pea-rifle, unci, not knowing it was loaded, touched the trigger. The bullet struck his mother on the side of the chest. The injuries are reported as not serious.
