N.S.W. Parliament Galleries Closed. Sydney, November 9.—Following the disturbance in tho House yesterday, the public galleries of Parliament were closed to-day, when the House resumed its sitting. Engagement of King Boris. Paris, November B.—The newspapers forecast the early announcement of the engagement of the Bulgarian King Boris to the Italian Princess Giovanna. Bound for Antarctic. Hobart, November 9.—Bound on a whaling cruise to the Antarctic the Norwegian whaling ship N. T. Neilson Alonso arrived here and has commenced shipping 5000 tons of water, and preparing her five small chasers for the cruiseAntarctic Expedition. Oslo, November S. —Holtedahl's expedition to the Antarctic has left en route to Capetown to join the steamer Norwegia. They will follow Bellinghausen's IS2I route, beginning at Enderbyland, round the Continent to the 120 th degree and thence proceed to South Shetland. The diplomat, Lars Christenscn, is bearing the wholo cost.
Pacific Cable Board. London, November B.—lt is understood that the only reason for the dolay in the appointmont of a chairman of the Pacific Cable Board is that the Board is awaiting Canada's approval of its nominee, whose namo has not been divulged, but he is not Mr Milward.
