In the Legislative Council to-day the Mortgagee Indemnity (Workers Charges) Amendment Bill and the Property Law Amendment Bill were read a second time pro forma, and referred to the Statutes Revision Committee. The Dunedin City Corporation Empowering Amendment Bill and the Wellington City and Suburban Highways Construction and Hutt Road Amendment Bill were passed. The Council adjourned at 2.45 p.m.
