. -♦ ' The monthly. Ceilidh of the Scottish Societv o£ New Zealand, Chi-istcliurch, was held in the Society's rooms, Manchester street, on'Thursdav. Chief J. S. Chisholm presiding. The/Chief welcomed the members and their friends. He also announced the visit of the Ashburtoii Scottish-Society and concert partv on Saturday, October Bth.
