t,: AUCKLAND, September 21. To perpetuate the memory of his two brothers, who were killed in the, Great War, Mr It. A. Laidlaw, general mantiger of the Farmers' Trading Company, Limited, has made a gift to his staff of 5000 "A" preference shares in the company to establish what shall be known as the Laidlaw Brothers' Memorial Trust. From the fund loans ■will .be available to all members of the. company's head office staff.
