CITY AND SUBURBAN ASSOCIATION. management committee. The Management Committee o£ the City and Suburban Cricket Association met last evening. Present: Messrs H. W. Rogers (chairman), G. Duggan, G. Hillsdon, E. King, J. King, 11. Potter, J. Gray, P. McNamara, H, Day, W. Lawson, W. Covlin, H. Aris, end J. - French^ The Ashburton Association's suggestion of November 19th as a suitable date for a conference for tho purpose of discussing rules in connexion with the Junior Cup matches was agreed to, and Mr J. King, and.E. King; Permit, Messrs R. Potter, W. Lawson, and J. Gray; Grounds, Messrs G. Duggan, H. Day, and* E. King; selectors, seniors—Messrs W. Lawson, J. Gray/and G. Hillsdon, juniors—Messrs G. Duggan, R. Potter, and J.' King; third grade, Messrs E. King, N. Mitchell, and J. ». Walter, selector for Town v. Country match, Mr H. . Rogers; Emergency Committee, Messrs ±l. W. Rogers,. E. King, and H. French. _ ; The Canterbury Cricket Association intimated that the Town v. Country match would be played on December 7th, and the match for tho .'Sub-Association's Shield, Ellesmere v. City and Suburban, ou November 16th and 1.7 th. It was decided to commence the corapeutions oh October 15th, and to close entries on Monday, October 10th, at 1 W The St. John's, Marists, and Christchurch Working Men's Club teams were allotted wickets on Monica . Park. The arrangements for friendly matches on Monica Park on October Bth were left to the club's leasing the park. It was decided again to affiliate with the Canterbury Cricket Association and the New Zealand Suburban Cricket Association. The Sunnyside Club's application to have all home matches was granted. Mr 11. W. Rogers was electod chairman of the Management Committee, and Mv G. F. .Hillsdon deputy-chairman.
