* IN PICTORIAL FEATURES. "WEEKLY PRESS" ILLUSTRATIONS. The Jubilee of a school that has been continuously passing girls into the world for fifty years is au event that must awaken deep interest in thousands of homes throughout the Dominion. A remarkable record of the recent celebrations in connexion with the Christchurcb Girls' High School is contained in the illustrated pages of this week's "Weekly Press." Photographs of the school and the principals, an impressive group of present pupils, and snaps of athletic contests and gatherings in which many "old girls" appear make a splendid souvenir of a great occasion. Another feature of personal interest is the page devoted to portraits of winners in the Ash burton Musical and Elocutionary competitions. An addition is made this week to the popular series of camera snaps in the streets of Christchurch, in which some charming studies of appear and interesting groups of pedestrians quite unconscious of the proximity of the photographer. A new set of pictures of well-known spots in Timaru, caught from unusual angles, illustrates the picturesqueness of the popular South Canterbury resort, und there is the customary full supply of topical illustrations.
