CREW'S NARROW ESCAPE. , (PBEB3 ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) IvOTOIlIJA ; September 19. On Sunday, the Government round trip launch, while voyaging from Wairoa to meet passengers coining from Waimangu, met heavy seas and was swimped. The pumps failed and the erew donned lifebelts and set a- course for the shore, which was reached as the launch foundered. There were no I passengers on board.
