BURWOOD SETTLEMENT.
TO THE EDITOR OT THB PBESS. Sir,—The reserves on the ShirleyBurwood tramline at "Buxton's corner" seem to be an excellent position whereon to build workers' dwellings—a place where some of our workers could be comfortably housed in rea-sonably-priced houses. I believe that these barren reserves might well become the experimental ground of standardised homes for the people.—Yours, etc., F.S.
