BIG PAYMENT TO BANK OF ENGLAND. (AUSTRALIAN AND K.Z. CABLE AS3OCI,VnOK.) (Received April 6th, 9.30 p.m.) PARIS, April 6. It- is reported that the Bank of England "has accepted the offer of M. Noreau, Governor of ' the Bank of France, for the prompt payment of £33,000,000,. the balance of an advance of £55,000,000, and the restoration by the Bank of England of 0.000,000 of gold deposited as security for the advance. It is presumed that the Bank of France is anxious to repay the debt earlier than arranged and recover the gold in order to strengthen' the financial position preparatory to the stabilisation of the franc-
