TRAIN STRIKES LORRY.
HINDU FRUITERER HAS NARROW ESCAPE. (raiss Asaocuno* tilegbak.) HAMILTON, April o. Ram Chand, a Hindu fruiterer, had a narrow escape from death at Horotiu this afternoon, when the Rotorua express struck his lorry a glancing blow, hurling it on. to the cattle-stop. Chand escaped unhurt, but the lorry was badly smashed.
