Complaint is made frequently by pedestrians of the dangers attendant upon . crossing Willis street, which, narrow as it is, is often reduced merely to the limits of a lano by the number of motor-cars parked in it. It is . authoritatively stated that 2225 cars "excluding specials" pass through Willis street between 7 a.m. and 11 p.m. daily, and that 13V cars pass through every hour (two way traffic), equal to 2.25 cars per minute. Two hundred aad eight cars pass through between 4.45 and 5.45 p.m. or one car each 17.3 seconds.
