J-be Man Upstairs,'* tyc "Warner Brothers' screen classic, entertained a, targe audience at the Liberty Theatre last night. Many months have pussod since s>uch an eerie comedy-drama has been thrown on tlic screen at this picture house. Monte Blue is starred, and he is given worthy support by the lovable and fascinating Dorothy Devorc. The tale has been adapted to the screen from the famous novel "The Agony Column," and none oC its tenseness or wholesome humour has been lost in transferring it to the screen. It features the novel manner in which a young adventurer became acquainted with a charm* 'up girl through the personal columns of a. London daily. features Irene Rich* and Ciivc Brook, with Pautinc Garon, Raymond McKec, and Winter Hall. Hilda Trevor© (Irene Rich) and Allan Tnvore (Clive Hrook) were on the eve of marriage, when "the oJher girl," Joan, fresh irom Paris divorce Courts, stepped into their midst. With the intrusion of pleasure-crazed youth, and the Mare of jar*, misunderstand* me came. It tells how a, wife lost the love of her husband and yet was unafraid to fight Jo win it back. Pictures in support of the featured two are excellent, including a toon, comedy, and a gazette. 1
