The Duke'and Duchess of York have departed for Brisbane. They called at Newcastle, where, in spite of the pouring rain, they were greeted by huge, cheering crowds. NORTHERN TOUR CURTAILED. (AUSTBALIAJf AND K.Z. CABLE ASSOCIATION.) SYDNEY, April 4. Out of consideration for the Duke and Duchess, the northern tour has been somewhat modified to enable thexa to have some rest at the various stop-ping-places.
