FORGED CHEQUES.

YOUTH COMMITTED FOR SENTENCE. (W«BS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) INVER/CARGILL, March 10. Gordon Jenkins, aged 17 years, appeared before Messrs T. Daniel and G. Watson, J.P.'s, at the Police Court to-day on six charges of forgery, the amounts involved totalling £53 7s 6d. Accused/ who pleaded guilty, had stolen his brother-in-law'e cheque book, and the cheques were drawn on the account of H. W. Squires, his former employer, and cashed in Invercargill. Jenkins was committed for sentence to the Supreme Cpurt at Dunedin.
