TARIFF COMMISSION.

CHRISTCHURCH SITTINGS. The CommiMion appointed to report on the revision of the . Customs tariff will commence its. sittings in Christchurch at 10.80 ajn. to-morrow in . the Ministerial rooms, Government buildings, under the chairmanship of Mr Q. Craig, Controller of Customs, who will arrive from the , north, to-morrow morning. Up to the present 25 persons have notified the local Collector of Customs of their intention to give, evidence on behalf of certain industries. Any otters desirous of doing, so should at once make an appointment with him. During the' time they are in Christchurch. the members of the Commission will probably find time to pay a visit of inspection to various industrial premises.
