They secured the highest score in the Imperial Challenge Shield (senior) competition, and the same for the junio- competition. The Ashburtoo Hoys' High School has qualified for medals c£ honour. In the Imperial Challenge Shield competition, Sergeant 11. L. Mason (Boys' lligh School, Christchurch) made 98. Cadet W. Charters (Boys' High School, Christchurch) 97. The six best performances for the Earl Jellicoe Trophy were: New Plymouth Technical College. f6.925: Post and Telegraph (Dunedin), 50.21 C; North Auckland Regiment (Whanearei). 50.137; North Auckland Rf;iment (Dargaviile), 79.029: Te Aute College (Ilav-ke's Bay). 70.560; Hoys' High Schoul (Ashaurton), Cs?.?9o.
