LIFE-SAVING.
A meeting of the new Council of the Royal Life-Saving Society was held last night, Mr G E. Billson occupying the chair. The secretary was instructed to ask Mr p G Bamford to arrange, in England, for the securing of a trophy for the four-man reel champion? hip. . It was decided to hold a conference in New Plymouth on February 18th. Mr H. .1. Ballin wai appointed tho Council's delegate. The secretary and Mr B. O'Neill were appointed to consider and Teport on the providing of preliminary certificates for school C, Tlio Dunedin Centro was granted permission to hold the -Nelson Shield competition at Dunedin.
