CYCLING.
MAIREHAU SPORTS* CLUB. A mecling of (bo Management Committed of the Mairchau Sportj Club was held in tbe Mairchau Hall last night. Mr W. <T. Walter was in tho chair. Thero was a largo attendance of members. It was decided to hold a sports meeting at English Park Stadium on Saturday, February 12th. Tho following programme of events was drawn up :—Half-milo open handicap, on<) and a half miles Mairehnu wheel, iaoe, halfmile amateur handicap, half-mile second and third-class handicap, five mile Canterbury championship. A sub-committee was appointed to tnako arrangements for ft motorpaced match rsce as an additional attraction.
