Institute. They have discovered a process whereby silk thread can be manufactured from ciiiiia &o organic substance forming the horny part of insects tod crustaciS&. They dissolve the ohitin and spray it into the air, where it forms silk threads of extraordinary strength. It. is suggested that instead of exterminating loonsts and" similar pests it soon will pay to breed them.
