WESLEY GUILD SOCIAL.
A concert was given in the Linwood Methodist Church Hall on Thursday under the auspices" of the Young People's Wesley Guild. The following Items were given:— Pianoforte solo,' by Miss J. Francis j instrumental items, by Misses Straws and party and by Mr A. Woodward and party, chorus, by junior girls; vocal solos, by Miss 0. Tibbs and Mr A. Woodward; recitations and monologues, by Miss T. Coard. Messrs H. McAffre, and G. Clothelr; humorous trio, by the Richmond party, vocal trio, by Scouts Bell and Clarkson Brothers, and a competition by Scouts. The Scouts also gave several demonstrations. A humorous sketch, entitled "His Wife's Relations," was also on the programme. "
