RICCARTON GATES.

OLD LANDMARK MOVED.. .During the last few days the wellknown gates at the entrance to Iticcarton Estate have been removed from. Straven road, The drive has been shortened and the new entranoe will be from Kah'u road. The first portion of the driveway is included in the subdivision of 27 fine sections which will ho sold at auction by Messrs Charles Clark and H. G. Livingstone and Co. on Tuesday next. As usual the trustees have not made small sections; the frontages are very liberal and the.areas vary from 32 to 51 perches, many sections being large enough for a tennis court. No better garden soil can, be found anywhere, and the sections are ready for. the builder. The land is in the sewer area and gas mains are laid both in Rata street and Straven 'road. The easy terms should ensure a ready sale at the auction. - —6
