OBJECTIVE GAINED.
THREE MILLIONTH VISITOR TO EXHIBITION. (Pit£33 ASSOCIATION TELEGKAM.) DUNEDIN, April 28. There was a surging crowd of many thousands outside tho Exhibition gates at 3 o'clock this afternoon, when the three millionth visitor passed inwards, and was conducted to the offices, where tho president, Mr J. Sutherland Ross, presented her with a cheque for £25. The winner was Mrs E. C. Mitchell, 182 Macandrew road, Dunedin. This is tho first of three prizes, for the millionth, the second millionth, and the third millionth visitors respectively, which lias been won by a resident of the Exhibition City. All three have been won by women. The first went to Invercargill, and the socond to Timaru. Mr Arthur Barnett, one of the Exhibition directors, has offered a prize of £2O for tho 3,100,000 th visitor.
