A POSITIVE REVELATION. Oo Monday next the first screening of the Dominion's first national picture, "Glori-ous-New Zealand,'' will take place.afc the Liberty Theatre. This marks a new era in the country's development; it is ah artistic achievement which will place New Zealaud before the world, and what is more important, still, will enable the citizens of this fair land to know their own country first. Wherever this picture has been shown the public have -showered enthusiastic . praise upon it. Wonders are unfolded tliat i?L their' • sheer beauty might be incredulously Turned aside as botanical impossibilities, yet these mar■vels of lakes and mountains, thermal regions and glaciers, are all crowded into the comparatively small space of the North and South Islands One is taken on a comprehensive tour which eitends from the tropic strands of coral-girted Samoa to the frozen wastes of Rossland; over on the Alps, through tlje winter sports; np to Russell, in the Bay of Islands, where the American novelist,' .Zane Grev, is seen playing the giant swordflsh; down to Stewart Island, with its.undisturbed panoramas; through the unexplored Urewera country, in parts of which the pakeha has not yet been; through all "these scenes of our country "Glorious New Zealand" takes one, until all its beauty, its majesty, is indelibly impressed upon the memory. Sir James Parr Raid that "the Dominion 'was destined to become the most popular tourist resort in: tho world," and when this magnificent sconie film is. shown to the thousands in other parts, then surely the pleasureseekers will hasten to see for themselves the splendours and marvels of "God's Own iCountry." It is.mpre.than a travelogue, more than an education -picture, for intense interest is present in every foot, and a romsntie appeal is- not lost when one is shown the old sites of battles in the Maori Wars.
